Veronica Risdon exhibiting at South Molton Museum

Throughout the entire months of May and June 2019 the South Molton Museum are running an exhibition dedicated to South Molton’s Woollen Industry, which will include historical information on the mills and lives of the mill workers, detailed paintings of local sheep breeds from Veronica Risdon, photographs from the Ravilious/Beaford Archive featuring woollen workers and live demonstrations of wool spinning by one of our volunteers, using a replica wheel similar to the type used by the cottage industry workers in the 18th & 19th centuries.

Veronicas sheep prints from her original art will be for sale ‘off the wall’.
